more impressions of the retreat

What I really miss at home is to step out of the house and standing in front of a forest - like I did in Gemünden. I' m a morning person and so I went out walking between 7 and 8 before breakfast and I took my bible, had a little break (I found a bank where I could sit down) and had a real quiet time. Only "disturbed" by twitter of the birds. That I can't do at home - in a big city...

Something else:

  • walking through the fields, the only sound you can hear is the wind or a small sporting airplane
  • discovering water lillies on a little pond
  • a dead looking toad in the same pond
  • a dragonfly passing my head (some wouldn't like that part...)
  • foxgloves beside the path
  • a swimmingpool in front of the house and not to forget:
  • having a great time with real friends from the christian family - fellowship

ich liebe es ja auch, um die zeit draußen zu sein und die ruhe zu genießen. andererseits ist es auch schön in der zeit im bett zu liegen...

Maybe I should say something in Tamil! :p
It sounds lovely..it's the other way round for me. Home is relatively peaceful, full of butterflies, dragonflies and all that and Madras (where I'm now) is the big city! The photos are nice. Is that a random family at the park or someone you know?

Anju, do you mean the last picure on this post? It's J.R., a friend, playing with children (he always does).
and the people walking in the clip are also some friends.

If I remember it right are the only ones I shot not being members of the retreat were the two children at the grindstone in "Hessenpark"
