Ok, Jim, that's a good idea. Here comes the backround for the picture I painted:
My friend Antje wanted a bigger picture for one wall of her new room and as she couldn't find a picture she really liked I offered to paint one for her. I showed her some motive postcards and there was that one with the bromous lake, the mountains in the background and the shadowy boat in the foreground. She spontaneously picked that one and said: "That's the one I'd like to have!"
So this is not an exact copy of that postcard but mostly. It has no special message (except the message of friendship) and, Jim, if you want you can tell me your thoughts about the title. I don't have any other title than just "Antje's picture".
If my kind readership would like to recommend some titles for the pic, please go ahead!

Tina, this is perplexing for me. Since I'm not very creative in the names bit, I would do like you, and call it "Antje." Then perhaps she will get a name for it herself.
If I send you my favorite postcard you might paint a picture for me? I think no, Antje must be a very special friend.
You are welcome to paint any picture you find on my blogs. I would like for you to tell me but you have my permission.
Check the 'Photo and Poem Place' for some pretty scenes if you'd like.
I think you take some very pretty ones for your blog, you could paint on of these.
..
where did the other painting go??
