check your child's homework

Canadian first-graders were asked to draw a picture about what they wanted to be when they were grown up.
One of the girls drew this and really shocked her teacher:
The following day the girl brought a note written by her mother that said:
"Dear Miss Davis,
I just want to clarify that my daughter's painting shows me, but not as a dancer in a striptease bar! I work in a hadware store and recently I told my daughter that I earned some extra money after we had a lot of snow storms. The drawing shows me selling snow shovels."

(I got this email today which really amused me...)

It is very amusing, I figure the daughter has never heard of those kind of dancers.
I like the way she drew the shovel. I have heard that kids make the most important item (to them) the largest.

Oh yeah, at first it is confusing... then, shocking... but ends amusing. :)
Funny how drawings can tell a thousand words. :)
